Turning Pain into Power

She was thirteen when her mother went missing.  It was a normal day, like every other morning she woke up at five a.m, made a cup of tea for herself and sat on the porch with newspapers in one hand.
After a while, she went back inside and started making tea for her husband as he came down to the kitchen.

They both were chatting about the last night's argument with her daughter. They were laughing and were tensed at the same time that how fast she's growing up.
It was a school day so she came downstairs to go to school., still mad at her mother for last night.

When she came back from her school, her mother was nowhere to be found. she searched everywhere and every corner of the house and of the street but still no sign of her mother. Even the cops were not able to find her and soon the case was closed.

She was broken from inside. She cursed herself for that night and she started believing that it was her fault.  But she hadn't lost her hope of finding her.

Cursing herself for ten years, she finally joined a missing person's agency. And after every successful case, she finds a part of her mother in that person.
