Three ways to stay positive

We all know that we learn the most from our tough, difficult and painful experiences. But, we only focus on the negative aspect of that even though they were the best teachers of our life.

We surely would not have the knowledge and sagacity if we haven't experienced setbacks and failures.


But the question now arises, How to withstand the huge waves of crisis, when your whole world is upside down?

  • Don't play the victim card- Is there someone who doesn't like some attention, sympathy, and love?  But doing so will only prolong your suffering. People will come and console you, your wounds will stay fresh which will only jam your positive healing energy


  • Lend a helping hand- Do you know of people who might be badly affected by this pandemic? Some may have lost their jobs, some may be dying from hunger. Talk to them, feel their pain, and if it's within your means, offer your help.


  • Limit bad news intake- Being constantly fed with dark news is enough to lose mind and start panicking for absolutely no reason. Watching bad news once is enough different news channels will not make it different.
Some words of Rainer Maria Rike have helped me to change my outlook maybe it can help you too-
...have patience with everything that remains unsolved within your heart. Try to love the question themselves, like locked rooms and like books written in foreign languages. Do not look for the answers. They cannot be given to you because you could not live them. It is a question for experiencing everything. At present, you need to live the question. Perhaps you will gradually without noticing it, find yourself experiencing the answer, some distant day.
